Meet Your Retreat Guides

Spiritual Teacher & Mentor

Alisha Olivier Park, Spiritual Teacher & Mentor, was born in Berkeley, California and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Alisha uses the wisdom she has learned in her own inner journey as a catalyst to serve humanity. Her passion is guiding people through their journey of personal transformation– back to their True Self, fully inspired and on their way to living a life that they love.

Alisha trained and worked alongside Dr. Deepak Chopra as a lead teacher and as Director of Seminars for the Chopra Center in Carlsbad, California. Following that work, she founded a wellness center, healing arts school and developed Yinki® Yoga. Alisha has dedicated the past 15 years to guiding others through the journey of Spiritual transformation.

With the wisdom gained from her own journey, and as a mentor to hundreds of people, Alisha has developed a highly effective and personal transformation course, Healing from Within. This online course guides students to live a life they love by understanding and processing the pain of the past, transforming limiting beliefs and negative patterns, and learning Spiritual wisdom to live a fully conscious, joyful and fulfilling life.

Alisha lives in the jungle of Costa Rica with her husband and two children. She travels the world to share wisdom and inspiration, and when at home, leads retreats in the stunning, untouched nature of Costa Rica.

Nicolette earned her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training with Oxygen Yoga and Fitness in 2012. Two years later she upgraded her training to become Yoga Alliance Certified with Naked Truth Yoga in Maple Ridge, BC, Canada.

Nicolette Maxwell wants to dispel the notion that you have to be young, bendy and tiny to practice yoga. With Nicolette’s down to earth, playful practice, she strives to help her students feel comfortable in their own skin, no matter where they are in their journey.

With intense focus on alignment and safety, Nicolette includes constant cuing and offers variations for all levels of yogis/yoginis.

Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin yoga are Nicolette’s specialties. Weaving insightful messages during the class is another passion for Nicolette. Music is also a large part of Nicolette’s practice. She enjoys spending hours searching for the perfect blend of songs.

From the mellow, melodic, meditative beginning, to more upbeat tracks for the crescendo of the practice, then back down for the final Savasana.

Nicolette constantly upgrades her practice with workshops and training including being an active yoga paddle boarder and her new love of working with aerial silks.

Nicolette is married and is the mother of three boys and two stepsons.
